>Joshua_Sokol: AEGOQSY H7 YOGA +16 16
#note Interesting first rack for me. I thought the S was definitely worth 10 points and not giving Mark an S to play through in the worst position, so I discounted YOGAS over YOGA. I preferred to play off more tiles here to draw a U or an I or something to play the Q off with. But GOY might be better. And you know, the Q sucks, so I should just exchange probably.
>Mark_Pistolese: OPW I8 POW +22 22
>Joshua_Sokol: AAEJLQS -AJQ +0 16
#note Wow! I should have given more thought to the board here. I can play J8 AAL and destroy all of the scoring spots, and force Mark's hand if he has an S. Even though JEQS as a leave is horrendous, most of the time I will get a free exchange! I can also play through with ALE, ALES or ALAS at G7, but I don't like those nearly as much, as they allow for some harmless reoverlaps.
>Mark_Pistolese: BDEIK J5 BIKED +24 46
>Joshua_Sokol: AEFILLS K3 ALIF +27 43
#note Ugh, I thought I could be making FAILLES up. That's 0-3 so far this game.
>Mark_Pistolese: OOZ I3 ZOO +27 73
>Joshua_Sokol: DELMMRS G7 MM +27 70
>Mark_Pistolese: AIIL L2 ILIA +20 93
#note This is the first occurence of a move that most players wouldn't make, setting up a huge hook up until someone draws a C (no M's left). I love moves like this, but I obviously had to be wary for the rest of the game!
>Joshua_Sokol: DELRSUX 6F XU +32 102
>Mark_Pistolese: AEU F3 EAU. +11 104
#note Now a B setup! Mark is drawing really badly this game already, lucky I can stay ahead.
>Joshua_Sokol: DEELRSS M2 DEES +29 131
#note REDLESS* was not a word, as suspected, but ELDRESS is.... Ack! I've never seen an ELDRESS in the wild before, but I could have put two and two together if I had seen the word on my rack. This play is bad.
>Mark_Pistolese: ?AEIRTU -U +0 104
#note I think this was his rack
>Joshua_Sokol: AEELRSV 11B REVEALS +79 210
#note Luckbox.
>Mark_Pistolese: ?AEIORT D8 TRA.OIsE +74 178
>Joshua_Sokol: ADEEEHV 15C H.AVED +39 249
>Mark_Pistolese: TU F10 T.U +5 183
>Joshua_Sokol: EEGNRSY B9 GY.ENES +52 301
#note held and released
>Mark_Pistolese: AILNNOT 14H ANTLION +71 254
>Joshua_Sokol: ?CNNRTU 15M NUN +13 314
#note this blocked a big JEST play.
>Mark_Pistolese: EHJ 5C JEH. +28 282
>Joshua_Sokol: ?CDPRRT D3 CR.D +14 328
#note I really didn't like getting rid of my C here, since then Mark had C(ILIA) to himself for the rest of the game. But the score was too close to try and retain a C to try and score in that spot myself. This was my best shot.
>Mark_Pistolese: NRT 10A T.R.N. +13 295
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AOPRRT M9 PATRO.. +24 352
#note I talked myself out of PRORATi(ON)!!! That's too many missed bingos for one game, let alone one tournament. Although I would likely have gotten stuck with the Q. Apparently PROT(ON) is better? Not sure why. Nothing plays after PATROON, but I guess if he has a huge CILIA play I need to have the A to win? Or he needs to draw an extra tile?
>Mark_Pistolese: CGI N8 CIG +21 316
>Joshua_Sokol: ?EOQRTW O9 TOWER +18 370
#note Ouch, I missed 12J QWE(R)Ty!!! Even though this is better. Weak performance overall...
>Mark_Pistolese: BFIIS A12 FIB +27 343
>Joshua_Sokol: ?Q A8 Qa. +35 405
>Joshua_Sokol: (IS) +4 409
