>Adam_Logan: IPX 8G PIX +24 24
>Dave_Koenig: ADEHNRV 7H HAVEN +27 27
#note Quackle static evaluator agrees with my choice. Playing HAVE instead is a little bit worse for a few reasons: (1) The leave is too unbalanced with consonants. (2) The large number of back hooks give the opponent easy points. (3) With HAVE it is easier for the opponent to put a high point consonant on 8L and make a play to the 8O triple word score.

>Adam_Logan: ILLNOT 5A LINTOL +27 71
>Dave_Koenig: ADEIJOU A1 JOUA. +39 137
#note Much better than JIBED or JOBED for more points, because of the superior leave.
>Adam_Logan: AIRU 8K .AIRU +21 92
>Dave_Koenig: ADEEIIN B1 AI +17 154
#note I started playing a bit more intuitively than for raw equity here. I saw that the board was starting to get blocked for bingos and that I might be able to shape it in a way to protect my lead. AIDE L2 is not so good because of the WAIDE hook, but EIDE 9I is a good play that I did not consider. However, I considered the row 3 and 4 openings to be less dangerous than the column N and O ones for bingos, and I also saw that B1-3 plays were some of the best scoring ones for nonbingos. I am beginning to try to shut things down while at the same time bingo chances for me are not unreasonable.
>Adam_Logan: EFO 7C FOE +27 119
>Dave_Koenig: DEEGINP 9M DEP +19 173
#note This was a very intuitive play. I saw that I had the extensions BARTENDED and BARTENDING for more points, as well as the natural PEED L1 holding ING, which I was sure was the equity play. However, I felt that all of these plays would increase his chance of scoring and that I had the opportunity to suddenly make the board very difficult to bingo on. Also, I am still holding the BARTENDING extension for the next turn. Note that my decision was influenced by the FOE play, which seems to suggest that he might be close to a bingo.
>Adam_Logan: ELSW 10K SLEW +44 163
#note More points than I expected him to get on this board, but at the same time I was happy with how it started to close things down.
>Dave_Koenig: CEEGIIN L2 CINE +22 195
#note Much happier to be point-greedy here than play for leave by retaining the N. Also, my tiles are well suited for a parallel play on M3-5, as GIE plays in that spot, and REG is also a useful G hook.
>Adam_Logan: AAMNOOS 9B MANOAOS +73 236
>Dave_Koenig: ?BEGIOT M3 BIOG +34 229
#note Adam managed to fit a bingo, but I am still right with him on score. I first laid down BEGO, but then switched to this for a few reasons: with a blank in hand, I would like the more helpful E for getting down a bingo, and also it is useful for the BIBE hook. Also, not allowing him to dump a heavy consonant at 7N is useful. If, for example he has to play at 10F instead, he is more likely to open up a spot for me to bingo.
>Adam_Logan: OZ 8A ZO +37 273
>Dave_Koenig: ?EFTTTU 10C TUFT +22 251
#note Adam has had a good run for the last couple turns, bingoing and hitting the big Z play, but I still felt in good shape because of this play, which not only keeps my best leave, but also holds the TE for potential big scores hooking OFT and ATE, when there is not much else left that can hook there for him.
>Adam_Logan: EILW N1 WIEL +26 299
>Dave_Koenig: ?EINQTU 3A .NQUIETs +87 338
#note This bingo followed by a great seven tile pickup pretty much guaranteed my victory.
>Adam_Logan: EG L10 .EG +8 307
>Dave_Koenig: CEHKSTY 13I CHESTY +39 377
#note Adam didn't give me a spot for SKETCHY, as I was hoping he might, but I knew that pretty much no matter what he did I was going to have a big scoring play in response. I had for example KY 2E, YESK H1, TECHY 11E. Here I was happy to block as much as possible with the C tile.
>Adam_Logan: ?EEGRRS 11B GERt +24 331
#note Adam came very close to running out of time here but still found a good endgame sequence. Quackle says JAgGERS or JAeGERS from 1A is 3 points better.
>Dave_Koenig: IKMRVY 2E KY +36 413
#note Best.
>Adam_Logan: ERS O3 SER +19 350
#note Best. Adam finished with 0:00 on his clock.
